100 Killed, Dozens Injured in Rivers Fuel Tank Fire

Over 100 people lost their lives and more than a dozen others were injured and have been hospitalised when a fuel tanker collided with a Toyota Corolla car in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.

We gathered that the 1,300-litre capacity fuel tanker was en route Port Harcourt, the state capital and had attempted to avoid the collision but ended up skidding off the road and and spilling it's content.

Let's pray for the families of the bereaved and wish the injured a wholesome and speedy recovery.

What would you suggest be done to avoid incident like this claiming innocent lives.
