If You Were a Beauty Queen, Which Would You Have Chosen? (+ Her Recent Pictures From NYSC camp)

Sources revealed to us that the beauty queen allegedly chose to be a part of Nigeria's National Youth Service Corps. The reasons for this, if true, remains unconfirmed.
What we on this end would like to know is if you would have made the same choice if you ever found yourself in her shoes; that is, choosing between representing Nigeria at the Miss World pageant or going to the mandatory NYSC scheme.
Which would you have opted for?

Below is the story we published earlier on the beauty queen:
Diamette Charles Granville To Represent Nigeria At Miss World Pageant (plus loads of pictures)
Isabella Ayuk dropped
I have to admit that this came as a bit of a surprise to me
but for those who aren't aware yet, the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in
Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant that was staged barely three months ago has been
dropped from attending the Miss World pagenat in August 2012 - to replace her
at the pageant is the first runner up at this year's MBGN, Diamette Charles
Granville.
Official reasons for this switch remain sketchy but we also
gathered that Ayuk will now represent the country at the Miss
Universe pageant later in the year instead of the Miss World
pageant that she had earlier been scheduled to represent the country at.
According to the organisers, the reason for the change have
been described as personal though several sources have mentioned quite an array
of unconfirmed factors, which range from her need to participate in the
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to alleged age falsification reports. These
are however yet to be confirmed.
Officially, the management of Silverbird, organisers of the
annual MBGN and Africa's longest running beauty pageant will be sending MBGN
First Runner up, Miss Diamette Charles Granville, to represent the country at
the Miss World pageant holding in Mongolia,
China
in August.
MBGN winner, Miss Isabella Agbo Ayuk will represent Nigeria at the
Miss Universe as earlier stated.
MBGN Second Runner up, Miss Ifeoma Umeokeke would be at the
Miss Tourism International holding later in the year in China.
In a statement signed by Guy Murray Bruce, the Group Vice
President, Silverbird, the management said the decision was in the best
interest of the beauty ambassadors, the company and the country at large.
"As we celebrate our 25th anniversary in the world of
beauty pageantry, It's our wish not to only raise the bar but replicate
the groundbreaking records achieved by Agbani Darego as the
first Black Africa's Miss World 2001 as well as some past queens who have
achieved remarkable results at some renowned international pageants in the
recent past.
While we seek your understanding, we also urge you to pray
for their victory at the various global beauty pageants where they will be
flying the country's flag."
That is how things stand at the moment and of course we'll
keep you posted if anything changes.
However, i would share with you a message i received from a
friend on this development and leave you to be the judge. The message reads:
"No doubt
corruption is now a way of life in Nigeria
and as such, you find corrupt practices in anything we do in Nigeria.
Few months when I
raised the alarm that Isabella Ayuk, the lady who won the crown of the Most
Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) is more than 26years, which she claims she is,
many felt I was blackmailing her! I knew this because her younger sister who
was my classmate in secondary school is now 27years old.
Today the truth has
been told which the organisers of the MBGN, the Bruce family knew even before
she contested! But instead, favoured her to be the winner because Isabella is
dating Hon Emeka Ihedioha, the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Abuja and she also warms
the bed of a big time businessman Henry Imasekha, a very close friend of James
Ibori.
Today she has been
disqualified from contesting in the Miss World Pageant due to age factor which
she lied about and as such the first Runner up Diamette Charles will now
represent Nigeria.
My question is What
Kind of Country do we Live in? Even in the Pageant industry there's corruption!.
The Bruce family has now disgraced themselves and Nigeria before the entire world.
But another source said Issabela is going for youth Service Pls Rebroadcast to
say no to Corruption in Nigeria."
Note that the message does not represent our position on this
matter as it is clearly the thoughts of the author of the message.
