KANU is Very Angry
Former Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu is quite frankly very angry at the moment. Do you know why?The footballer is ready file legal action against Portsmouth football club for six years of unpaid earning in a "breach of contract" dispute.
This leaves Portsmouth reeling after being hit by a new 10-point deduction and now, the threat of legal action from one of its own players.
This marks the third time in four seasons Portsmouth have been stripped of points in addition to its £52 million debt.
Things just got worse for the club as Kanu is ready to sue the 2008 FA Cup winners for six years of unpaid earnings.
Portsmouth administrator, Trevor Birch has complained about the point deduction saying, "I think most people would agree that the deduction imposed last season was sufficient, particularly as it played a huge part in the club's relegation to League One."
