N30 Million Fee Tears Charly Boy, Nigerian Idol Apart!

Contrary to the assurances given by the producers of the music reality TV show, Nigerian Idol that there would not be any change in the judges of the show, sources have made it clear that Charly Boy is on his way out.

We gathered that the Area Fada as he is fondly dubbed paved his own way out of the show when he insisted on a N30 million fee to appear as a judge on the third edition of the show.

Sources have also squealed to us that Charly Boy did not attend the media launch of Nigerian Idol Season 3, which was recently held and this had earlier raised a lot of dust as his inclusion in the show.

With Charly Boy's insistence on a N30 million fee still hanging, many have wondered if Optima Media Group might have begun searching for a replacement for Charly Boy.

I guess we'll just have to wait this one out.
