Nigeria's Gugu Michaels Wins a Double at NAFCA Awards



U.S-based film maker and actor, Gugu Michaels has picked up two awards from the second edition of the recently staged Nollywod and African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA).

At the event, Michaels won the award for 'Best Indigenous/Native Film' and 'Best Costume in a Feature Film' with his movie, 'Unge's War.'

The prestigious event was anchored by Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker and popular actress, Angela Okorie.

It might interest you to know that this award-winning producer also doubles as a music producer.

After studying Musical Engineering at Skyline High School, Texas, he dabbled into music production and didn’t stray too far off when he began recording his own songs as well.
His musical interest further expanded to inculcate music videos and in a bid to fuel his growing appetite for creativity, he gave it shot and today, Michaels has over 100 music videos to his credit.
