Abike Dabiri, eLDee Endorse Echovision's 'Children Xmas Funfair 2012'

The 2012 edition of the Children Xmas Funfair organised by Echovision Multimedia Production and supported by Nollywood America would be riddled with fun, excitement and loads of surprises for the family.

This was revealed by the Managing Director, Echovision Multimedia Production, Kevin Anochie in a chat with Newswatch at the Ikeja Shopping Mall in Lagos.

“The event has been scheduled for December 26, 2012 at Ashton Gardens & Event Place, Ogba in Lagos and will run from 9:00am through 6:00pm.”

Another interesting part to the funfair according to Anocie was the endorsement of the event by the Chairman, House Committee on Diaspora Affairs and member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Abike Dabiri and award-winning music producer and performing artiste, eLDee.

“We would also be joined by celebrities like eLDee and Kween. Hon. Abike Dabiri would also be part of the fun fair. This is the second edition and we had the maiden edition in 2010 and I was out of the country so I couldn’t hold it last year. We have however decided to make it an annual event and that’s why we have decided to bring it back in 2012.”

He explained that this year’s edition would have lots and lots of games and gift items for the kids. There would also be series of dance competitions for the kids and of course, loads of prizes and goodie bags to be won.

To ensure that the fair lives up to expectations, Anochie added that Echovision Multimedia Production decided to raise the bar by bringing in Santa Claus from the United States.

“Guess what? The Father Christmas is going to be coming in from the United States of America. We just want to ensure that we give the children a real treat. The gate fee is N500 per child. The adults that bring them are free to come in with their children or wards. We have a lot of games lined up for them including the bouncing castle, the train and others. We’ll also have Santa Claus, Ben 10 and loads of great items for the kids. We’re also going to have a steady flow of music from DJ Whisky. In addition, there would be musical performances from Bayo and Ibitayo Jeje.”
