Olamide Under Fire!

Coming on the heels of the victory of Nigeria's Super Eagles over its Malian counterpart, a cross section of music loving Nigerians have asked fast-rising rapper, Olamide to take back the lyrical line he dropped in Phyno's hit single, 'Ghost Mode.'

In the track, Phyno had a duet with Olamide and the latter had said one of his verses: "...other rappers be like Naija - Dem no dey reach final..."

Well, now that the Super Eagles thrashed Mali 4-1, thus qualifying for the finals, music fans have asked him to 'swallow his words,' noting that the rapper had just been proven wrong by the performance of the Eagles barely 2 hours ago.

"Shame to Olamide who said other rappers be like Naija dem No dey Reach Final. Pleas spread this message till it gets to him. Real Nigerians can go ahead and celebrate," said a certain Freddie."

Do you think Olamide needs to offer an apology or should he just take a swipe at the opposing voices that have taken centre stage.
