Boko Haram Goes After NYSC Corps Members?

I received this message yesterday and while many might worry over whether the threat it contained was confirmed or not, I chose to worry over the implication of such a threat on the lives of innocent young men and women who have chosen to serve their father land.

Read the message below:

"This is a security alert warning from †ђξ SSS in Nigeria to all corps members especially the ones serving in the North. There are treats of attack by some Muslim sects on corpers. Please don't wear your Khaki carelessly especially:

1. While travelling and
2. At night.

There are also plans to stop wearing Karki even for CDs for the time being.

Corps member have also been warned not to go out @ night especially alone! Your ID is enough.

Don't wear your cap or crested vest @ night or to lonely places.
Kindly inform ever corps member you know especially those serving in the North."
