Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative Presents the 4th 'Amuwo Annual Youth Essay Competition And Awards for Secondary Schools'

The Amuwo Annual Youth Essay Competition And Awards for Secondary Schools is back with its 4th edition and there are two exciting angles to kick off with - Firstly, it's powered by Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative and secondly, it's for secondary school in Amuwo Odofin Local Government  Area Of Lagos State (Season 9).


For Season 9, students are expected to write on the topic: 'IS SOCIAL MEDIA A WELCOME PLUS TO YOUTH EDUCATION AND MORAL OR A MINUS WITH GRAVE CONSEQUENCE.'

The students essay defense will take place after the marking of the scripts on June 17, 2013. This would be followed by awards and presentation of prizes will be held at a grand ceremony on Friday, June 28 at GOLDEN TULIP multipurpose hall, Amuwo Lagos by 10am.

Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative, a Non Governmental Organisation was founded and established in 2007 and registered fully in the corporate Affairs commission.

However we believe that the youths are the leaders of today and for them to rise up to this fact, they must be prepared physically, intellectually, intellectually, emotionally, psychologically and constructively.

We are passionate about youth education which is the best legacy anybody can leave behind, we fight against drug addictions, we train the youths on skill acquisition, integrated potters workshop, motivational seminars and promoting girl/child morals.

We selflessly believe in moulding the youths through constructive exercise.

In line with the above, we  would like to express our profound appreciation of your immense contribution to the growth of human capital, education and youth development in Nigeria.

In furtherance to same, we humbly invite you to partner with us on this Initiative that we are moving from Local Government to Local Government catching them young and re-orientating our youths.

This Annual Essay Competition for secondary schools in Lagos is on going in Amuwo LG now and over 40 secondary schools are participating FREE.
