Mr 2Kay Unwraps ‘Summer Girl (Samba)’

Succeeding the massive success of his last UK single ‘Bubugaga,’ which was play-listed across the UK including, Kiss FM, Capital Xtra Bang Radio, MTV Base, Channel 4 Music and Music Week, international Pop artiste, Mr 2Kay is back with a brand new single titled ‘Summer Girl (Samba).’


Interestingly, scores of radio and club DJs including Shaun Sullivan and Steve Bright have already certified this song as an imminent hit as fans look forward to the August release of the song in the UK via Grafton Ent and Wyld Pytch.

 Collaborating once more with prolific British producer, Ozzie (Triple O Productions), Mr 2Kay is in flying-form on the very infectious ‘Summer Girl (Samba);’ backed by smooth melody and commanding drums.

The track is further brought to life by its summer-fine music video, which feature cameo appearances from BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Edu and Capital Xtra’s DJ Abrantee.

The video was shot in London and reflects a captivating visual affair from start to finish, showing Mr 2Kay in all his charismatic glory and ushering audiences firmly into the Summer and festival season.

As a global ambassador for Afro Beat music alongside the likes of D’Banj, David O, and Wizkid as one of the forerunners of the new school of Afro Beat according to industry tastemakers, Mr 2Kay is fast becoming a tour de force across the music landscape and culture.
