Osun Music Awards gets date, 30 categories

Organisers of the Osun Music Awards (OMA) 2014 have unveiled the date and categories of awards for the forthcoming event.

The categories include Osun Best Male Artiste of the Year, Osun Best Female Artiste, Osun Best Radio DJ, Osun Best Street/Club DJ, Osun Best Musical Video Director, Osun Best Music Producer, Osun Best Female Entertainment TV Presenter, Osun Best Single of the Year, Osun Best Yoruba Entertainment Radio Presenter, Osun Best Music Video, Osun Best Rap Artiste, Osun Best Group Artiste, Osun Best Collaboration, Osun Next rated Artiste and Osun Best Record Label.

Others are Osun Best Radio Station, Osun Best Entertainment Group, Osun Artiste of the Year, Osun Best Comedian, Osun Best Rap single, Osun Best male entertainment TV Presenter, Osun Best Song of the Year, Osun Best Blogger/Blog of the Year, Osun Best male Gospel Artiste, Osun Best Female Gospel Artiste, Osun Best Fuji Artiste, Osun Best Cultural Group, Osun Most supportive Politician, Osun Best Street hop single and Osun Best Street Hop Artiste.

Nomination has been thrown open and ends on October 15. The organisers added that voting has been scheduled to commence on October 16 and end on December 5.

There are 30 categories, 30 awards and 120 nominees.

The award ceremony holds in Osun State on December 13 and kicks off at 7:00pm prompt.
