Can Edo State score a (GUS) hat trick?

The recently concluded Gulder Ultimate Search 8 was staged in Edo State for the second time.

Other states across the country have at one time or the other hosted the Nigeria Breweries-sponsored reality TV show but none has hosted the show twice except Edo State.

Interestingly, at the closing ceremony in Edo State on December 12, 2011, Governor Adams Oshiomole expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event and urged them to bring the show to the state for a third time.

Well, we know there’s nothing wrong in craving something good but we must also emphasise that there are so many other states that have not enjoyed the privilege of hosting the show that has produced sixteen young millionaires thus far.

It would however be interesting to see if Edo State can actually pull a hat trick by winning a right to host the show for a third time.
