About a month ago, sexy singer and multiple Grammy Award-winner, Beyonce stunned most of her fans when she revealed that she had always looked forward to having a baby at the age of 30.

The 29-year-old singer will clock 30 in September 2011 and moments after she made the disclosure in an interview with Pier Morgan of the CNN, more than a few fans have kept their finger crossed in anticipation.

Admitting that she had always wanted a baby around the time she reached the milestone age of 30 might perhaps remain the biggest hint that the singer is ready to start a family and not many of her teeming fans would disagree with this.

Asked by the CNN host about whether she was feeling broody, Beyonce replied: 'I always said I was going to have a baby at 30. I'm 29 now.

'But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don't know,' she said, adding: 'I am not retiring, I tell you.'

Pressed by Morgan she said: 'Only God knows, only God knows,' to which he cheekily retorted: 'Can you ask him?'

Beyonce replied laughing: 'I will, I will have a conversation with him... but you can't tell anybody else.'

The interview was recorded in London during the promoting of her fourth solo album, 4.

Speaking of her husband, rapper Jay-Z she told Piers: 'He is amazing,' but didn't go into much detail about her other half.

She explained: 'Jay and I have kind of made a decision that we want to be known for our music and not our relationships or scandals.'

Beyonce recently performed at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London as part of her promotional blitz to launch her new LP, with the event being attended by a host of celebrities including close friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
