Help! Accident on 3rd Mainland Bridge (Dec 18, 2011)

Following the report of a Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) truck colliding and falling on a car with a couple inside on Third Mainland Bridge, residents of Lagos have called on the appropriate authorities to embark on a rescue operation.

According to broadcasts via smartphones and Blackberry devices, the accident occurred in the early hours of December 18, 2011.
"They are stuck and people are trying to help but it's taking time without the necessary equipment. Please broadcast this message so the necessary authority can get to them in good time," a Blackberry user posted.
