Opeyemi Olusanya is not happy

We all know that death has perfected the art of robbing humans of happiness and one of its latest victims is popular Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Olusanya as she recently lost someone very close to her.

As if this was not bad enough, the identity of the deceased has been revealed to be that of a young up and coming actress simply identified as Funmi.

Commenting on the tragedy of losing a promising actress at a period of the year when millions of Nigerians and the rest of the world are looking forward to Christmas, Olusanya noted that one thing that really hurt her about the actress’ death was the string of calamity that trailed her shortly before her death. She added that not too long before her death, the actress has lost one of her children.

“We just lost another young up and coming actress in the movie industry (Funmi Liverpool of Legacy caucus). She was sick for a while but was snatched away from us by death after taking one of her kids away not too long ago.”

It didn’t come as a surprise when Olusanya urged Nigerians to pray for God’s protection especially during this time of the year.

“We really need to pray for God’s divine protection on us all. The movie industry is now being talked about like it’s a shrine or a cult. We need to cry out to the Lord,” she enthused.
