Man, 25, jailed 6 months for motorcycle theft

An Upper Area Court in Gwagwalada on Tuesday sentenced a 25-year-old motorcyclist Maniru Abdulalik to six months imprisonment for stealing a motorcycle.

The police prosecutor, Cpl. Illya Maji, told the court that the convict a resident of Angwan Dodo Gwagwalada stole a black Jincheng motorcycle with engine number PBBTA71317317, chassis number LHOBSA5851 valued at N78,000.

Maji said the motorcycle was sold at N41,000, but had been recovered by the police.
