Tonto Dikeh rocks the boat, set to release album with D'banj’s DB Records

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh's foray into music did not go unnoticed and given the strength of her songs, her musical progression was greeted by a gamut of mixed reactions - While some saluted her courage and creativity, other wasted no time in condemning her to the wilderness of destructive criticism.

For some time, the buzz seemed to mellow down but like a bolt from the blues, the singer has bounced back and this time, she holds more ferocity judging from her new found affiliation with one of Africa's biggest musical exports, D'banj.

Tonto Dikeh is presently gearing up to release her first album.

The 29-year-old actress recently revealed this and told 'Hip TV' that the album may shock most of her fans.
"I don’t think my fans are expecting exactly what I am about to give to them but yes, there will be an album’, she said.

FOr those who might not know, Dikeh has been signed under D’banj‘s record label, DB Records.
Asked how she feels about being the only female act on the label, Dikeh said, "I’m ecstatic about everything and how it happened, I do not know. It just worked itself."

Dikeh ventured into music in October 2012, with the release of her singles, 'Hi' and 'Itz Ova,' which set millions of tongues wagging.
