Angelina Jolie takes legal action against Daily Mail over 'Heroin Video'

Recently, George Clooney’s sent an open letter of complaint to the Daily Mail, after the newspaper made false allegations regarding his personal life and now Angelina Jolie is taking them up legally for publishing a video online, which it claims shows her while she was addicted to heroin during the 1990s.

Angelina Jolie who by the way is a friend of Clooney is taking legal action against the newspaper, reports The Times, following its publication of that video. The video was embedded within an article entitled, “Bloodshot hollow eyes, emaciated arms and rambling on the phone: Haunting video of Angelina Jolie the heroin addict.”

The Clooney article was removed by the British tabloid following the actor’s letter, in which he called the publication an “irresponsible” and “laughable tabloid” that “must be so very proud”. Clooney has also rejected the Daily Mail’s apology for a false story about his fiancĂ©e’s mother, describing the paper as “the worst kind of tabloid.”
