Malaika Decries Killings in Nigeria

  • Features Oritsefemi, Dude Tetsola, Cashson in new song
Fuji act, Alhaji Sulaimon Adekunle Alao a.k.a ‘Malaika’ has teamed up with the trio of Oritsefemi, Dude Tetsola and Cashson in his latest track to condemn the killing of Nigerians in bomb blasts around the country.

The song, titled ‘Stop The Violence’ was recorded in Lagos and produced by produced by Real Man.

According to the Fuji Music Star, Malaika who is the executive producer of the project, “Killings are too constant. As an artiste, I must use my weapon to preach against it. That is what gave birth to the song and I felt the need to work with other artistes on the track. That is the reason Oritsefemi featured in the song. Dude Tetsola is another creative artiste and i believed working with him would strengthen the song. Cashson is from the eastern part of the country. That was why I worked with him. This is a Nigerian project. We must unite as a country. We must shun violence and stop killing ourselves. We don’t need to wait for our president. As a republic, we must do our best to fight against killings and violence in the country," he said.
The artistes recorded a good outing at the recording session as Malaika took the chorus of the song, "Stop the violence; allow peace to reign..."
