LOLA ALAO UNHAPPY - By Samod Biobaku
LOLA ALAO UNHAPPY
When Simply Samad spotted pretty actress in Ikeja earlier this week from a distance, she looked resplendent in her beautifully designed blouse and pants.
However, on closer inspection, the frown on her face was a clear pointer that something was amiss.
Upon inquiry, the popular actress spilled the beans. Apparently furious, her vocal projection rose like a giant wave as she lamented how a certain publication had decided to take its journalism beyond the realm of professionalism.
According to Alao, the publication in question had published a story where she was described as a snake. “Can you imagine? They said I’m a snake…” she lamented.
While Showbuzz appealed to the actress to disregard the damaging story as a small price she had to pay for being a celebrity actress, she insisted on making a scapegoat out of the publication in question. “I can’t believe they would go that far. They said I am a snake and that any man who makes love to me would never prosper. I will teach them the lesson of their life,” she said a she got into her car.
We do not know the circumstance that gave birth to the story but we appeal to both sides. To the alleged publication, we urge you to endeavour to adhere to the ethics of the profession and to Lola Alao, when you’re a celebrity, you can’t stay out of the media.
Meanwhile, the sexy actress recently added another feather to her cap as she was named the Most Fashionable Yoruba Actress in 2009.
