impress
Contrary to the expectation of excited guests who attended
the 2011 edition of The Headies, pretty singer, Tiwa Savage failed to impress,
thus recorded an average performance. Not even her hit singles like Kele Kele
Love and ‘Love me Love Me Love Love Me’ could resuscitate her colourless
performance.
Of course, her curvy waistline, thunderous hips and sloping
backside were all on display but for those who expected much more in the
quarters of music, it was a sour note.
How dense can you be? Or are you just looking for traffic on your site?? I doubt you attended "The Headies" Ms Savage's performance was top notch! It was different from the usual! She sang all her Hit Songs well and her performance was flawless! Get your facts right!!!

Well, it is clear that your rating in terms of stage craft and performance are heavily coloured by the pens of bias or perhaps the soft spot you visibly have for her. Tiwa Savage must understand that to whom much is given, much is equally expected. A star singer owes her fans a star performance and not one in the average realm. Moreover, you must understand that the author does not hold any grudge against the gorgeous singer. I was there and i agree with the author solidly. *wink* Tame your fingers.

As far as i am concerned, Omawumi had the best performance of the night and i am a big Omawumi Groupie. If you feel you could have done better please and i repeat PLEASE be my guest.

For the records, i would like to know who did the ratings for the 'Best 5' mentioned in the last comment. I was @ The Headies and i usually stay quiet at such events for one reason, i want the opinions of guests and majority in attendance to filter into my eardrums. We all witnessed the greatest performance of the night from Sir Shina Peters and this stands in great conflict with what the the anonymous writer poster in his/her last comment. Well, so far, it appears, the reader is a female as her writing takes the form of a feminist expressing her thoughts. This is further made manifest when she writes: "...Omawunmi had the best performance of the night..." This is so untrue. Omawunmi had a great performance no doubt but SSP had a greater performance. Most guests took to their feet for Shina's performance and this was all too clear fro all to see except our anonymous reader left The Headies before SSP's performance. No one is taking anything away from Tiwa savage but i agree with the fact that the singer was capable to taking her performance up a notch but she didn't. She is a top of the shelf act and we expect the same from her stage craft. For the records again, no one is saying she's a bad singer or that she had a terrible performance but she could have done better. Well, i guess readers often get sentimental and personal when their favourite artistes come under the spotlight of media scans like what the author did. The author might been a little hard with the choice of his word, 'COLOURLESS' and should endeavour to be mild in his criticisms. You all have a great week. *winks*
