I just stumbled on a report that stated in clear terms that our ‘darling’ Gabriel Amanyi popularly known as TERRY G got a very raw deal in far away Benin; capital of Edo State.
According to the report, Terry G might still be nursing wound he allegedly sustained from his fans in Edo State on December 18, 2011.

We gathered that the self acclaimed Lucifer performed at the Star Lager Beer Show where he saw the other side of his fans. He was begged to perform more of his songs after he did two of his new songs on stage. He however, allegedly refused and rushed back to the backstage where other artistes were relaxing.
After so many pleas from the organizers of the show, Terry G allegedly remained adamant and before you could say 'Jack Robinson,' some angry fans went backstage, punched and bruised him severely before he was thrown back on stage. He was later led out by security operatives who guarded the Ginjah Ur Swagga master off stage, back to his hotel room, with only his boxers short on his body.
‘He thinks he can come to Benin and mess with us, he can only do that for them in Lagos and go scot free. We don’t take shits here, he was paid over a million naira and he performed 2 songs from his CD and not a live band. We won’t take that from him’, one of the fans fumed.

As at the time of filing this report, we have not been able to get an official reaction from the award-winning singer.
