Breaking News: Stay at home order!

At precisely 2am this morning, i received a message from a reliable source stating that the NLC has maintained that the national strike action scheduled to continue this week remains on course but has however tasked Nigerians to remain in their homes.

In the statement, the NLC leadership urged Nigerians to stay off the streets while a committee that is being set up to bring an end to the ongoing fuel subsidy drama.

The message read thus:

"NLC leader has issued an official statement at precisely 1.30am at the end of the meeting with President Jonathan:
Strike still on but everyone, stay in your homes - no street protests. Committee is being set up to work wit NLC to sort out d fuel pricing issue within d next 2 to 3 days... President Goodluck Jonathan will address the nation @ 7am (today, January 16, 2012)."
