Alfa Belgore loses wife
Hajiya Fatimah Belgore, wife of the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, is dead. She died at her Abuja residence yesterday after a brief illness. Hajiya Belgore died a few days to the wedding of her son, Abdulsalam Belgore.
Hajiya Fatimah, a retired nursing officer, was described by close associates to the family as a gentle, humble and caring mother. The remains of the deceased have since been buried in Ilorin according to Islamic rites.
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmad in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, described her death as painful and prayed to God to grant the deceased Aljanat Fridaus.
