Does this Afrikan Duchess deserve a ‘Thumbs Up?’

The name Afrikan Duchess (born Bianka Johnson) might not ring as instant bell but for those who have crossed the length and breath of the entertainment industry on a global level, the name would ring more than just a bell.

She hails from the Eastern part of Nigeria and presently resides in the United States.


As a practicing healthcare professional, Bianka has expanded the horizon of her professional terrain to include a broad spectrum of work, which includes now owning a production company where she produces movies and also manages actors, actresses, artistes and other showbiz personalities.

She led popular U.S based actor, Chet Anekwe into the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood and gave him his first movie within that expanding industry.

Today, Chet Anekwe’s name is on the list of exceptional acting talents who have made it into the prestigious list of AMAA nominees.

Since it has always been universally agreed that the taste of the pudding is in the eating, you would then understand why an individual like Afrikan Duchess deserves more than just a deafening round of applause.
