Update On Davido, Mobile Policeman Drama | Sina Rambo Speaks

For those who read the previous piece we did on the incident between rising singer, Davido and the Nigerian Mobile Policeman (MOPOL) who allegedly slapped him and even threatened to shoot him, you must remember that we clearly stated in the story that we were yet to hear Davido's side of the story and as such, would keep our fingers crossed till he confirms of dispels details of what truly transpired between him and the cop.

However, barely ten minutes after we published the story online, we received a comment from Davido's buddy and fellow singer, Sina Rambo (real name Adesina Adeleke) and he stated that the story of circulating story of Davido getting slapped was not the truth.

"Sorry that's not true. I am Sina Rambo and that's not what happened...," said Sina Rambo.


Efforts to get him to comment further proved abortive

As at the time of filing this report, we were yet to get an official reaction from Davido but we'll keep you posted as events unfold.

This one just filtered in - Guess what? Unconfirmed reports presently have it that popular singer, Davido recently earned himself a dirty slap for daring to challenge the authority of a Nigerian Mobile Policeman (MOPOL).

Here's the gist, which the 'Ekuro' crooner is yet to officially comment on.

According to a source, Davido was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts by one Nosa, a fast-rising music producer cum manager.

The show ended and Davido we gathered, was said to be drunk and insisted on leaving in a friend’s car instead of going in the one that brought him and other top artistes and crew from the hotel.

He insisted and Nosa being his host had to drive behind them.

The drama was said to have started when the car conveying Davido was stopped by some military men for the routine check especially at that time of the night.
A source squealed to us that that the obviously tipsy Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting "...don't you know me? What the fcuk is wrong with you guys?"


We were informed hat he went on and on about who he was and openly questioned why the mobile policemen had to stop his friend`s car.

This act we gathered, infuriated one of the MOPOL and while the musician was still ranting and boasting, he was landed a dirty slap and was threatened with a gun pointed straight at him.

The musician we were further told was immediately rushed back into the car by Nosa and his friend who had at that point alighted from their bus and pleaded with the uniformed men and explained to them that Davido was actually a popular musician especially in Lagos and had only come coming from a show.

We still do not know how true this is but if true, do you think Davido needs to be careful or do you like him just the way he is?
