Was Davido Slapped By a Mobile Policeman?

This one just filtered in - Guess what? Unconfirmed reports presently have it that popular singer, Davido recently earned himself a dirty slap for daring to challenge the authority of a Nigerian Mobile Policeman (MOPOL).


Here's the gist, which the 'Ekuro' crooner is yet to officially comment on.

According to a source, Davido was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts by one Nosa, a fast-rising music producer cum manager.

The show ended and Davido we gathered, was said to be drunk and insisted on leaving in a friend’s car instead of going in the one that brought him and other top artistes and crew from the hotel.

He insisted and Nosa being his host had to drive behind them.

The drama was said to have started when the car conveying Davido was stopped by some military men for the routine check especially at that time of the night.
A source squealed to us that that the obviously tipsy Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting "...don't you know me? What the fcuk is wrong with you guys?"


We were informed hat he went on and on about who he was and openly questioned why the mobile policemen had to stop his friend`s car.

This act we gathered, infuriated one of the MOPOL and while the musician was still ranting and boasting, he was landed a dirty slap and was threatened with a gun pointed straight at him.

The musician we were further told was immediately rushed back into the car by Nosa and his friend who had at that point alighted from their bus and pleaded with the uniformed men and explained to them that Davido was actually a popular musician especially in Lagos and had only come coming from a show.

We still do not know how true this is but if true, do you think Davido needs to be careful or do you like him just the way he is?
