Will DAVIDO Fulfil His Promise?

Most of us would remember that in the first week of June, 2012, Davido took to social networks to announce the title of his Debut album and also the possible release date for the forthcoming LP.

The Title of the album as he Tweeted back then remains, O.B.O: Genesis - the O.B.O acronym stands for Omo Baba Olowo.

The 'Omo Baba Olowo' phrase gained prominence following the teeming success of his smash single 'Dami Duro'.

The last musical item Davido released was his video for the song, 'Ekuro,' which garnered over a 100,000 views in 3 days.


This is the point where we sit back, grab a magazine or novel and see if the album drops as he promised in the first week of July.
