Willow Smith, 11, Apologises To Fans Over Tongue Piercing

Willow Smith has apologised to fans after posing with a fake tongue piercing.

The 11-year-old attracted criticism from her fans after posting a picture of her with a stud in her mouth on Instagram this week.

But the daughter of Jada and Will Smith has since moved to set the record straight, insisting that it was not the real deal.

'It’s fake…Sorry,' Willow wrote in a note to her followers.

And a source told website Gossip Cop: 'It isn’t a piercing – it is a magnet.
'Just a young girl having fun with accessories.'

The Whip My Hair singer has her hair shaved, and for the last few weeks has been dyeing it several different colours.

She also has several real piercings along her ears.

While she is quite the rebel in real life, she is about to play one of the most innocent child characters onscreen.

The Californian starlet is likely to become a global star with her latest role in Annie, as she fills the shoes of the title character for the remake of the 1982 musical, starring Aileen Quinn.

Jay-Z will pen new tracks for the film, implying it will be a funked up version of the wholesome original.

Daddy Will is set to produce the Sony project, as Emma Thompson takes on scriptwriting duties.
