Amstel Malta Showtime Takes Naeto C, Davido, Others to Benin On July 27

*Best Western Hotel, Benin City plays host*

N.7.5 million, iPads, luxurious weekends up for grabs

Benin city, Edo State has been marked as the next city to experience the Amstel Malta Showtime thrill, as it gets set to host the second leg of the 2012 edition of the unique activation.
Musical acts on cards are Naeto C and Davido; who are expected to perform before the audience at the prestigious Best Western Hotel, Benin City.

Also expected in the event is ace comedian, Buchi as well as impressive dance group, CDW, who will also thrill the audience with their electrifying dance routine. The event will be anchored by Banikudi crooner, Darey ‘Art’ Alade.

The event will also feature students of tertiary institutions slugging it out in singing, dancing and comedy competitions. Winners in each category will get the sum of N500,000 cash, a brand new iPad as well as a luxurious all expenses paid weekend for two in Lagos. The first and second runners-up will not go home empty handed as they will get N150,000 and N100,000 respectively.

The platform was designed to give young people, especially students of tertiary institutions, a unique opportunity to express themselves and be their best.

After Benin, Amstel Showtime will be in Ibadan where 9ice and Tiwa Savage will be the major acts on stage. The last leg of the event will feature Tu Face and Wizkid as the headline performers, while comedy will be supplied by Seyi Law

The first edition of Amstel Mata Showtime 2012, which was held at Atrium Hall Port Harcourt, Rivers State, saw ace artistes, P Square and Flavour performing before the excited crowd. The event also had hilarious jokes from Senator, one of Nigerians fast rising comedians, as well as electrifying dance routine from top dance group Outrage.

Last year, the unique activation made its debut with some of Nigeria’s top acts gracing the stage to entertain the audience in Owerri, Enugu, Abuja and Lagos. Some of the stars who performed at the events are M.I, Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince of the Choc ‘Boiz Fame’, Naeto C, Banky W, Wiz Kid, P Square amongst others.
