Chelsea Gets $73 Million

UEFA has announced that Champions League winner, Chelsea has received the sum of $73 million as prize after winning the prestigious competition and emerging the biggest earner last season.

Bayern Munich who lost to Chelsea in the final earned $50.9 million out of the $919 million prize shared among 32 teams that played in the competition's group stage.

While Barcelona got $49.5 million for reaching the semi-final, AC Milan followed with $48.7 million.

Manchester United was also on the list despite failing to make it into the last-16 knock out round and they earned $43 million.
