Man Hacks Friend to Death Over N500

For failing to pay back the N500 he borrowed from his friend, a certain Imenvbore John has paid the ultimate price as his friend, Anuoluwalpo Samuel picked up a machete in anger and hacked him to death.

The ugly incident occurred in Badagry, lagos State in Nigeria.

25-year-old was promptly arrested by the police and arraigned before a Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos.

Currently in prison custody, Samuel we gathered had demanded for his money from the deceased and his friend's refusal to pay had resulted in a fight.

After his arrest, the matter was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba in Lagos.

After investigation, he was charged with murder and the case has been adjourned till August 15, 2012.
