RAPPER LAURYN HILL FACES 3 YEARS IN PRISON After PLEADING GUILTY TO TAX EVASION CHARGES


American music star and Grammy award winner, Lauryn Hill is presently not enjoying the best of times as she faces 3 years behind bars if found guilty and sentenced over tax evasion charges levelled against her by the state.

Earlier this month, she was charged with tax evasion when she failed to file her taxes for 3 years Straight.

The 37-year-old mother of 6 recently pleaded guilty to three counts of failure to file tax returns from 2005 to 2007 in which she earned over $1.8 million.

According to TMZ, when the judge asked if she “intentionally and willingly” failed to file the returns, she replied, “Yes.”

Lauryn faces 3 years in prison and $75,000 in fines.

She has since been released on bail of $150,000 and the case has been postponed till November this year.
