Joseph Benjamin, Femi Robinson, Others prepare for Celebrity Football Match And Seminar To Honour Late Ambassador Olusola | August 18

On August 16 and 18, 2012, all roads would lead to Yussuff Grillo Hall of Yaba College of Technology, Akoka, Lagos and the Yabatech footbal pitch in Lagos respectively for the seminar and celebrity football matchh put together in honour of late Ambassador Segun Olusola.


With a couple of days to go to the much talked about seminar and celebrity football match, the likes of Joseph Benjamin, Femi Robinson, Chief Eddie Ugboma, Godwin Enakhena, Bakky Adeoye, Yanjo Adegbite, Kenny Ogungbe would be joined by other veterans, movie stars and TV personalities who have signified their intention to be part of the pre-events for this year’s Nigerian Broadcasters Awards scheduled for November.

While Mr. Femi Robinson of the Village Headmaster fame, Pa. Eddie Ugboma,a veteran movie producer, Bakky Adeoye among others will lead the few selected from the Nigerian movie industry to handle the one part of the seminar  the theme Drama & Nollywood, Ben Bruce, The President of Silverbird Group, Cally Ikpe, Sulai Aledeh of Channels TV, Ify Onyegbule, Kunle Job, Cordelia Okpei, Ayinde Soaga OGTV, Yanju Adegbite from BCOS Ibadan, Steve Onu a.k.a Yaw of Wazobia FM, among other  from the Nigerian electronic media will lend their voices on the second part of the seminar with the theme Broadcasting Industry in Nigeria; Past, Present, Future; Problems & Prospect.

The seminar is scheduled for Thursday August 16 at Yussuf Grillo Hall of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Akoka Lagos.

The football match that will parade the likes of Joseph Benjamin, Godwin Enakhena, Kenny Ogungbe, DJ Bombastic, DJ Caise, Nedu of Wazobia FM, Shan George, Cossy Orjiakor among others great faces and voices, is slated for Saturday August 18, 2012 at the Yabatech football pitch.

We also gathered that the events, which are a prelude to The Reality Entertainment’s Nigerian Broadcasters Awards would henceforth become an annual in a calculated bid to keep the legacy of Ambassador Segun Olusola alive.

The seminar has been put together to empower the practicing as well as aspiring broadcasters and actors.
