Kardashian Baby Weight: Kourtney In No Rush To Lose Weight After Penelope

Kourtney Kardashian is in no hurry to lose her baby weight just two months after giving birth to her daughter, Penelope.
Kardashian admitted this week that she gained almost 45 pounds during her second pregnancy, but the reality TV star is already back to her skinny jeans and cleavage-bearing tops, reports The New York Daily News.

In talking about her plan for losing her baby weight, Kourtney said:

“While I’m here around the house, I just eat healthy.” This new way to lose weight is a far cry from her program with first baby, Mason.

Kardashian attempted to lose her baby weight as fast as possible after the birth of her first child. But even Kourtney will admit that she pushed herself too far and ended up collapsing while running on the beach, according to WebProNews. Kardashian stated:

“I’m so embarrassed that I punished my body for a photo shoot. I’ve been obsessing about this weight thing a little too much.”

But this time, Kourtney is not stressing about the weight gain from being pregnant, planning to take it easy by eating healthy. For many mothers, the journey back from gaining baby weight is a tough one. It has been especially tough for celebrity moms whose during and post-baby bodies are talked about and criticized by fans and the media.

For Jessica Simpson and Aishwarya Rai, the media and their fans (or haters) have been especially cruel because they haven’t been able to lose their baby weight as quickly or easily as Jessica Alba and Heidi Klum. Rai stated that:

“The role models being held up are Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham, but our body frames are different – we have wider hips and curves – so this whole business of looking desperately skinny two weeks after giving birth is a western import.”
