Singer Hakym The Dream Loses Car to Robbers

Serengeti act, Hakym The Dream is presently nursing his loss following his sad experience with car snatchers yesterday, Thursday, August 30, 2012 around Aina street in Ojodu, Lagos.
In a conversation with NET, the C.E.O of the label, Kelechi Amah, confirmed the incident stating that the singer is still surprised about the sad event. According to him, Hakym wrapped up his performance that night for 11 pm in Oregun, Lagos after which he in company of some friends drove down to Ojodu to drop a colleague off.

‘As soon as they parked, about five guys approached them brandishing guns and seized the car keys from him. He and his friends were forced into the car and driven down to Lagos Ibadan expressway before they were ordered out of the car…he wasn’t hurt though, but his phones and other valuables were taken from him’ he said, stating that an official report has been made at the Ogudu police station and the police have promised to look into the case.

He however added that additional help is needed from the general public in the search for the car, ‘We would like anyone who finds it to get back to us or the nearest police station. The car is a 2010 lemon green colour of Sienna model car and with plate number, BY751AGL’.

Hakym The Dream with real names Hakeem Olatunji is a producer, singer and songwriter.
