Intending Pilgrims Cautioned Against Performing Abortions

If you're an intending pilgrim to the holy land of Saudi Arabia and you're pregnant, then a member of of the Amirul Hajj in Gombe State, Hajiya Larai Ari is appealing to you against aborting your pregnancy in your bid to perform Hajj.

Also, if you know any woman in this kind of situation, kindly let her know that taking the life of an unborn baby is a sin against God in itself and should not be encouraged.

It would be recalled that the State Government had planned to introduce new methods of screening intending women pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to detect those that are pregnant.

“Islam prohibits abortion because of pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia,” Hajiya Ari said.
