JTF Raids Boko Haram Bomb Factory, Arrests 156 Suspects


The Joint Task Force, JTF, has raided a bomb factory operated by the suspected Boko Haram members in Mubi, the commercial nerve centre of Adamawa State, and arrested no fewer than 156 members of the sect, including six females and five children.

One of the suspects was killed during the operation.

Among items recovered from the raid, code named Operation Restore Sanity, were ready-to-use improvised explosive devices, chemicals, over 500 daggers, 9 AK-47 assault rifles, locally made pistols, rocket launchers, among other arms and ammunition.
