Tha Suspect Takes a Swipe at Simply Samad

Shortly after i put up a piece titled: 'Tha Suspect Takes a Swipe at Segun Arinze' (Click HERE to read it) and Tweeted it, rising Capital Hill act, Tha Suspect threw a reply at me and this was how he put it:

U Lazy Blogger, Write Sumtin Daring about The Govt naw RT @SimplySamad: Tha Suspect Takes a Swipe at Segun Arinze http://nblo.gs/CO8V7

I felt the urge to reply but then again, i just thought i should add a little more colour by putting up a follow up post.

Now that Tha Suspect has tagged me a 'lazy Blogger,' i'm not going to call him a liar or go into any defensive stance. Rather, i would simply ask him to take a look at a piece i wrote on December 8, 2011.

The piece was titled:
'Why President Jonathan’s wife/children must be killed'

Click HERE to read the article.

Here's another one i wrote on December 27, 2011 and it was titled:
'President Jonathan: Saint or Satan?'

Now i ask: Is this the kind of post Tha Suspect is asking me to put up?

If yes, then it's quite clear that i have done that and still do from time to time.

However, the only snag with articles like that is the fact that after a while, you begin to receive messages and calls from strange people who keep asking questions like:

"...where are you at the moment?"

"...who is your source?"

"Do you want to live long enough to bury your parents?"

...and the list is endless. I'm not sure if Suspect gets asked questions of this sort often. It's not always wise to play Moses when

1. You do not have a rod like Moses did

2. You cannot split the Red Sea in half and walk across it

3. If your name is not Moses (obviously)

I remember the lyrics from Sound Sultan where he sang:

"I want to be like Moses - Show my people dem to the Promised Land - But then i notice something - people wey try am don dey underground - I see them, i ja (run) - Look them from far - Me i fear these government people... tired of the evil..."

Many of us including Tha Suspect have seen how desperate Nigerian politicians can make people disappear ezpecially when you're considered a threat in any form. You simply go missing. We''ve seen this happen countless times.

As for our Dear Tha Suspect, i hold no grudge against you for calling me names - Go in peace and sin no more.
