6 Intending Female Pilgrims From Gombe State Pregnant

Six intending female pilgrims from Gombe State who are found to be pregnant, may not perform this year’s hajj to Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Yau Kashere, the Head, Medical Team of the 2012 Hajj Operation in the state, made the disclosure in a recent interview in Gombe.

He said that the team detected six pregnant women during the screening of intending female Muslim pilgrims. Kashere said that 656 of the 1,100 intending women pilgrims from the state had been screened so far. (NAN)
