Accountant Shot Dead in Lokoja

Unknown gunmen yesterday shot dead a senior accountant with the Kogi State Teaching Service Commission, Mr Ogwu Omede, in Lokoja.

It was gathered that Omede was shot dead at about 5am in his residence at the old polytechnic quarters along Ganaja road in the state capital.

His wife was also shot by the gunmen. Spokesman of the Kogi state police command, Mr Romanus Nwaneri confirmed the killing of Omede.
