Maltina DanceHall Host, Kemi Adetiba Arrested By EFCC Over Alleged N15m Fraud?

After i got this gist, i had to blink a couple of times to ensure that i had seen the name correctly. Well, the name didn't change and there a part of me that expects the personality involved to come up with her own side of the story ASAP.

Well, according to the National Enquirer Magazine, the host of the recently concluded dance reality TV show, Maltina Dance Hall sponsored by Nigerian Breweries, Kemi Adetiba has been burning the candles trying to extinguish the flames of a scandal, which could create a gaping hole in her hard earned reputation.
The Law graduate turned TV host, i gathered, was allegedly arrested by the anti graft agency, Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over her shady involvement in a N15 million belonging to a church in Gbagada area of Lagos.

According to sources, the N15 million was said to have been entrusted in care of the multi-talented lady to help a certain non-governmental organization in the church to handle some production deal which she never did.

Though details of the deal remained sketchy at the time of putting this article together, she was allegedly arrested and whisked to the Okoti-Eboh Street, Ikoyi office of the EFCC shortly before the Maltina DanceHall season 6 kicked off.

The Ekiti State-born lady had to beg the EFCC officials to allow her host the show (Maltina Dance Hall Season 6) promising she will make sure she sorts out the debt as soon as she finished the show.

Now, that was one side of the story and we eagerly expect Adetiba to offer an official statement soon.
