Suspect Fingers Okah in Warri Bomb Blast

One of the suspects held in connection with the October 1, 2010 bomb blast near the Eagle Square, Mr. Edmund Ebiware, on Wednesday, informed an Abuja Federal High Court that he suspected that a former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta, Mr. Henry Okah, was behind the bombing at Warri, Delta State in 2010.

Eight persons reportedly died after explosions went off near the Government House, Warri during a post-amnesty dialogue organised by Vanguard Newspapers on March 15, 2010.

The suspect also claimed the Petroleum Resources Minister, Mrs. Dieziani Alison-Madueke, asked him to establish a contact with Okah in a bid to address pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta.
