Twist: Taraba Governor Not Dead

Taraba State Governor, Danbaba Suntai who was involved in a plane crash in Adamawa state earlier today has been confirmed alive.

A source at the Adamawa Government House confirmed this to Daily Trust contrary to earlier reports that the governor was dead.

The source however, confirmed that the governor sustained injuries and was immediately evacuated to a hospital.
Reports from various sources earlier Thursday evening from Adamawa state however said the governor died in the crash, though two others in the craft survived.

There has been no official statement yet to confirm or deny the speculations on his condition.
A plane he was personally piloting crashed this evening at the Yola International Airport in neighbouring Adamawa state.
