Oprah Reveals Breast Cancer Scare

Oprah Winfrey recently had a breast cancer scare and fears she may have to shut down O Magazine as she hates 'bleeding money'.

The chat show queen has revealed in a New York Times interview that in October she went to see doctors but that it turned out to be a 'false alarm'.

She had however taken the news so seriously that she did not even tell best friend Gayle King until after she got the all clear.

Oprah also spoke candidly about her troubled empire - her TV network OWN has reportedly lost $330m - and said that were O Magazine to start losing money she would close it.
The publication has already lost more than a fifth of sales after The Oprah Winfrey Show ended its 25 year run 18 months ago.

Oprah's disclosure about breast cancer comes after she herself has done multiple shows about women who have battled and beaten the deadly condition.
