D’lyte Gets Her Groove Back!

A diva of repute, a beautiful songstress, multi talented and an energetic performer are some of the words best describe Stella Francis Ebegbune a. k. a D'LYTE.

The sweet-voiced singer is not new in the Nigerian entertainment industry and ‘I Don Kolo’ her debut single which the remix featured Ruggedman, was released in 2005 and it was what Atukpa needed to announce her presence in the musical scene.

For those who might be wondering about D’lyte’s whereabouts, the sassy song bird has been on sabbatical but she is back with a bang! ‘Askor’ was the title of D’lyte’s first single as she got her groove back after a short break. She is set to release another beautiful love song for those who love to love.

‘The Askor crooner’ has wrapped up plans to release another single titled ‘I Don Kolo.’ The new song is learnt to have been produced in South Africa by ace producer, Ayodel.

Speaking about her new songs, D’lyte said, “Askor, a beautiful love song for those who love simply means "Ask "or" shut up" a positive slogan assigned to those who invest their time in bringing or slowing people down by gossiping and tarnishing their image. Askor - Lobito is an old street slogan brought back to replace "talk to the hand”. I Don Kolo is a beautiful Love song inspired by a loved one who I hope to reveal someday,” she enthused. 

D’lyte, who has been in and out of the country in pursuit of her career, believes in quality sound and good music. The sexy belle is presently working on a humanitarian project for female which is coming up soon.  “2013 is a year of good music and efforts rewarded. I’m appealing to DJs and OAPs to appreciate and assist Nigerian female acts,” D’lyte quipped.  

As a valentine gift to her fans and friends, D’lyte’s ‘I Don Kolo’ would be released on February 10, 2013.
