Oba of Lagos Backs Ban of 'Okada' in Lagos

The recent order restricting commercial motorcyclists popularly called 'Okada' from operating on Lagos roads received a royal blessing from the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, who openly declared support for its total ban in the state.

According to him, "Okada is gone and gone forever in Lagos State because it is a sign of poverty and no government would fold its hand and allow it's continued existence."
