How Far Can Wale Adenuga Go?

Popular film maker and entrepreneur, Wale Adenuga recently launched a record label called WAP Records, now hunting for gifted artistes to be signed onto the label with juicy contract.

As expected, potential sign ups must be highly gifted to get signed by WAP Records.

If you consider yourself talented enough to be a part of Adenuga's expanding team, then you might want to visit his official office space in Lagos.

After straddling the worlds of comic publications, film productions and trainings, the publisher of old Ikebe Super has taken a new set of bulls by the horn by unveiling a record label.

The entertainment mogul, who also recently inaugurated wapTV channel, is respected for the business astute he takes into his programmes, which has made success of them.

However, how far the businessman can go with this new project is another question entire. While no one doubts his ability to make sound decisions as a businessman, the level of competition he will have to contend with is another case study entirely.

Now going into music, pundits can only wait to see if he will be able to shake the scene as he has done over the past decades.

“After making impact in other fields, we are convinced that this is indeed the time to make our mark on the Nigerian music industry,” he affirmed.

“We are starting with the WAP Music Artiste Search, which is a hunt for gifted males and females of all ages who only need a chance to showcase their singing or rapping talents in any genre of music and the winners will get signed to WAP Music with a juicy contracts.”
