Fifo and Wycliffe Introduce Street Fashion [Photography]
Two budding
photographers, Fifo Adebakin and Wycliffe Alabi have unveiled a creative
concept tagged Street Fashion.
According to the
team's Creative Director, Adeyemo Segun, the concept was conceived to reveal a
more flexible and relaxing side of photography.
"It all
started on a Thursday afternoon... It was just the perfect time to have a
shoot! The shoot started at Eric Moore in Surulere, Lagos with a classic relaxing shot by Fifo
and Wycliffe. It was a real one!"
He added that
the model's composure gave the photographers enough inspiration to proceed and
even expand.
"The model
was so relaxed in front of the camera, which gave the photographers the spark
to shoot more! Later on, we decided to move it to the street which even gave
the pictures that edgy look. Cars were few, people stared at us yet it was so
much fun that we lost track of time."
Fashion, in
Segun's words, has gone beyond studios or runways. Now it has moved to the
streets, because I would say fashion is our everyday life. We see it wherever
we go. That's what prompted us to move it to the streets. The photographers
were terrific and so was the Model. It was a perfect blend of work and fun all
the way."
This maiden
session was themed 'The Fashion Bloke.'
