and blessed with a physique that draws stares from her swelling statistics of
fans and admirers.
She is presently one of Nigeria’s highly sought after models and video
vixens based in the Republic
of Benin and there are
several qualities that have placed this gorgeous model in high demand for
modelling jobs, musical video jobs and others events hinged on the walls of
entertainment and fashion.
During this online interview with SIMPLY SAMAD, Obanla spoke about her
preparation for the Miss Freedom of the World beauty pageant scheduled to hold
in Republic of Kosovo on June 24, 2013, her career and other unforgettable
moments.

There was this time a female walked up to
me and said she likes me and would love to know me better. She then asked me
which state I was from, I told her I’m a Lagosian and she screamed and said:

I would love to meet and work with Naomi

I would pick Oluchi, Naomi Campbell, Tyra
Banks and Daniella Sarahyba.

Yes i can and I can cook all sorts of food.

I was checking e-mails.

is the most important issue in the world today and why?
I really can’t say the most important issue
in the world because every country has got its own issues. Same applies to every
individual in each country.

That happened while I was 9 years old.

Yes I would love to. This would enable me
spend more time with the one I love so much, my wonderful children, grand
children and also maybe great grand children…

run through some of the jobs you have been involved in
I have worked with amazing people. Nigeria
Television Fashion Show, MTN Fashion Week and Night of Elegance. I’ve worked
with Keilla's Designs, Makeup Magazine, Da Viva in Accra, Ghana.
I’ve worked with Barrett Apkogbayen (Best Photographer of the Year 2010). I
have done high fashion modelling, glamour modelling, mature modelling,
promotional modelling, run way modelling and catalogue modelling and many more.
How
much do you charge for a job now?
More than N500, 000 bit it also all
depends. Sometimes, it could be N100, 000 or even N50, 000 but that’s the
lowest I can possibly go.
What’s
the ‘Miss Freedom of the World’ all about?
It entails a lot but basically, its all
about fighting for what is right and fair. Risking all for that which mattered
and give to those who are in need… So now, I am representing Nigeria at the
world wide contest and I hope all Nigerians will support me.
How
do you think you would be able to impact/help others if you win?
It has always been my number one goal to
have platform to help others and I know the time is now.

us a bit more about the Miss Freedom contest
About 40 countries are coming together in Republic of Kosovo to contest. That’s all I can say
for now.
When
and where is the pageant taking place?
The pageant is taking place in Kosovo in Europe and camping starts June 10 while the grand finale
is on June 24.
